Electric shock therapy, real life war games and psychology are just a few of the tools China is using to curb widespread addiction among that nation's 31 million Internet gamers. Watch this video of a report from a special treatment center in Beijing.

A communist dictatorship, China has long clamped down not only on democracy but on Internet use among its population.

    I haven't read about the Electroshock treatment for Internet Addiction and it sounds so weird. Maybe I'm wrong but I’d prefer to use parental control software to limit Internet usage for my son than use such methods. I use Ez Internet Timer that restricts internet access at specified times or on demand.
