Prepaid Mastercard, An Alternative For The Recession

Slowly, over the past decade or so, our economy has become built on cashless, usually credit, purchasing. Now we find ourselves in a credit crunch -- and even people who had access to credit before for day-to-day buying are finding that credit drying up.

Debit cards are fine for many people -- but what about people without bank accounts at all?

A Prepaid Mastercard could be the answer. You can use it however and whenever a MasterCard would be used. Bad credit is OK.

Even if you have a bank account, using a regular debit card may leave you with insufficient funds if you forget about a pending transaction and then use a debit card to buy gas or whatever. With a Prepaid Debit Card or Prepaid Credit Card, however, you have the funds you need without touching your account further. It really helps you budget and avoid going over any bank limits. Just set a weekly "allowance" for yourself and load your card with that amount. No more worries.

Speaking of allowances, this card would also be great for kids, teenagers and even college kids whose parents worry about giving them a credit card -- only to find the child use the card unwisely and rack up too many charges. This card gives them a preset amount. When it's gone -- no going over, and no surprises for you.
