Video of the Day: UNESCO Launches World Digital Library

Nearly six years after the United States rejoined UNESCO after a two-decade absence, US Librarian of Congress James Billington's vision for a library on the worldwide web, aimed at promoting cultural understanding between peoples and featuring tens of thousands of digitized images from around the globe, is poised to become reality as the World Digital Library goes live.
