Buying A Car After Cash For Clunkers

We've all heard how successful the government's "cash for clunkers" car-buying rebate program was -- so much so, the government had to go back and put more money into it to keep it going.

Cash for clunkers, however, is now history.

Are you thinking of buying a new car, but did you miss it? Or did your particular "clunker" just not qualify for a rebate under the program?

Carmakers and their dealers are looking to keep interest in car-buying alive, even after the end of the federal rebates.

One of the major objective of cash for clunkers was for consumers to retire their older gas guzzlers in favor of new, more fuel efficient models.

You can still get in on this goal, as well, and there are resources on the Internet to help.

You can go online to compare makes and models, including gas mileage information for a variety of vehicles, including honda, the lexus rx, and infiniti brands.

Look them up and compare and contrast different vehicles. See how the different fuel efficiencies stack up versus the cost of the vehicle, as well as reliability, maintenance costs and other important factors.

Click on the links above to get a sense of the detail of the reviews at hand. This website features both snapshot details and more in-depth reviews --- depending on the information you need and your level of interest.

Of course, the "guts" of a car isn't everything. You may be primarily interested in style. That's okay, too, because these links will also present a variety of car photos, so you find the hottest ride you can afford!

A Wide Variety Of Car Reviews

The Car Connection works to be a comprehensive site to get important information about a whole range of vehicles. You'll find a review, whether you are looking to learn more about a honda odyssey, a pontiac g8, or even a lamborghini. You can find reviews of current models, as well as older models, as well, so you can get the information you need before heading out to the used car lot.

To see what you can learn about any given vehicle, let's look at the review of the nissan altima as an example.

You can either get the "bottom line," a quick review with all of the need-to-know facts, or for those who want more, such as enthisiasts, you can read a full review.

You'll learn the MSRP, a list of likes and dislikes, as well as a full run down on vehicle.

Whether you are looking to buy a vehicle, or are an enthusiast looking to learn more, check out the Car Connection website.

Online Help To Buy A Used, Or New, Car

A new report out from J.D. Power and Associates has the firm once again downscaling its forecast for auto sales. Overall, car sales are dropping even further -- although, interestingly, used car sales are up.

Obviously, in this tight economy, everyone is looking for the best value they can find. Consumers are looking for used cars that are reliable, dependable and can bring them the biggest bang for their buck, so to speak.

If you're in this position, try using the Car Connection website as a place from which to start. The Car Connection offers car views for many makes and models of vehicles, including acura and honda, including the popular honda accord.

(By the way, the Honda Accord is sort of like the mother of all used cars. They are known as cars that are highly dependable and last a very long time. I've known of people driving Honda Accords with 250,000 miles on them or more.)

You can browse the Car Connection reviews of specific makes and models, or you can select by category (sedans, two-doors, SUVs, etc.), as well as being able to select by the price range you want to pay. You can even also search vehicle reviews by the fuel economy they get.

The reviews include photos and run down all the specs, so you can use them as a tool to figure out what you need and want, what you are willing and able to pay, and what to expect from a dealership.

Also, if you are in the market for a new car, Car Connection can help you, too.
